- Who are we?
We are the First Unitarian Church of Lynchburg, Virginia, Unitarian Universalist, and we are
a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association.
- What do we stand for?
We strive to be a progressive and welcoming liberal religious community that affirms the
worth and dignity of each human being. We believe that religion is a personal and individual
quest for spiritual meaning to our lives. A much more detailed statement can be found

- Where is the church?
The church is located in downtown Lynchburg, on the Monument Terrace steps. See

- When do we meet?
For our normal schedule, running September through June, we have on Sundays:
During the summer, our schedule is much more ad-hoc. In either case, the latest information
is available on our on-line Calendar.
