The Connections Team serves two core functions:Caring and SharingFun and FellowshipThrough these roles, the Connection Team helps make sure congregants, both members and friends, are cared for and work with the Director of Lifespan Engagement to coordinate engagement opportunities.

The Connections Team meets once a month via Zoom as one unit, but with different members reporting in and assisting with planning on one of the two key functions. The team works with the Minister and the Director of Lifespan Engagement to plan programming to best support the congregation. Some examples are holding New to Unitarian Universalist (UU) classes and membership ceremonies at least twice a year, helping visitors, friends, and members find places to connect within the congregation, maintain contact with friends and members who come irregularly, implement fun engagement opportunities for members, friends, and the wider community, and provide care for those in need. The Team also works with other committees and teams to meet the needs of the congregation and friends.
