The Endowment (Planned Giving) Committee encourages and recognizes Legacy Gifts to the church to support the congregation’s mission and work.
Legacy givers may designate the use of their funds for the operating budget, capital/maintenance, or the Endowment. Committee members work to ensure donated funds are used in accordance with the donors’ wishes. Assets held by the Endowment Fund are invested in the UUA Common Endowment Fund. As governed by church bylaws the committee members will accept written proposals from the congregation and make annual distributions from the funds. Committee members are elected at the congregation’s annual May meeting and serve a staggered three-year term.
