The church is located on the Monument Terrace Steps, and is accessible from the Terrace Steps or by going down the stairs on either side of  the Unitarian House at 818 Court Street and then entering the Fellowship   building directly behind Unitarian House.  

Accessibility
Our new, handicap-accessible addition to the church, the Fellowship Hall, permits easy access to the church. Just park in either parking lot adjoining Unitarian House. These parking lots are both wheel-chair friendly, and go directly to the Fellowship Hall and the elevator to the main floor and the church sanctuary.


Ways to get to the church:

• From 29 North
        Take Business 29 south and then VA-163, crossing the James River and join 5th Street after crossing the bridge. Turn left on to Court Street, and then look for the Unitarian House 818 Court St. on the left.      

    

• From Randolph College/Boonsboro Area
        Follow Rivermont Avenue into downtown and turn right on to 5th Street. Turn left on to       Court Street, and then look for the Unitarian House 818 Court St on the left.      
• From the West (Bedford and US-221)

Take either Lakeside Dr or Old Forest Rd from the western side of the city to their junction. Then follow Lakeside Dr, bearing left on to Murrell Rd, and then right on to Langhorne Rd. From Langhorne, turn left on to Memorial Ave which continues into downtown Lynchburg becoming 5th St. From 5th St turn right on to Court Street. Watch for Unitarian House 818 Court Street on the left.

• From the North-West

      Follow Langhorne Rd to its junction with Memorial Ave and then follow the route described      above.

• From US 460 West

      From US-460 West, take the exit on to North US-29 Business as 460 swings south of Lynchburg. Then follow the route given on from 29 South.    

• From the South

US Route 29 is the main route into Lynchburg from the south. Stay on Business 29 after the airport.
Follow Business 29 as it merges into Lynchburg's expressway. Stay on the expressway until the Grace Street exit. From the exit, turn left on Bailey, and then shortly turn left again on Grace Street, crossing back over the expressway.
At the end of Grace street, at the first traffic signal, bear right on to 12 Street, and then after one block turn left on to Court Street. Look for the Unitarian House at 818 Court Street on the right.

• From 460-East

US Route 460 is the main route into Lynchburg from the east. Follow 460 westward until the Campbell Avenue exit.
Then follow 460 business north on Campbell Avenue, crossing the Lynchburg expressway and becoming Kemper St. From Kemper turn right on to 12th St and continue in to downtown Lynchburg. From 12th St. turn left on to Court St, and watch for the Unitarian House at 818 Court St on the right.
